About Us
We donate a free Honor Bear to any family who has lost a loved one while in the line of duty or service to this country.
We are a five generation family of Military and Law enforcement and have been making hand sewn teddy bears for 30+ years. Our inspiration for this charity came after a friend/coworker passed away - we created three Honor Bears from her uniforms in order to give one to each of her children. Our time is 100% donated - we only ask for monetary donations in order to offset the cost of materials and shipping etc.
If you are interested in having an Honor Bear made from a uniform and your family does not meet the gold star requirement for a donated bear, we can still create one for you. Any donation over $200 qualifies you for one bear. Just reach out to us at bearsofhonor@gmail.com or complete the 'contact us' below for details. All donations are tax deductible and go to providing free bears for gold star families.
